Speed Week, Slaloms, November winds and Winter

Speed week was another exciting event this year with the kitesurfers getting the best speeds once again. The Windsurfers werent far behind though. So the harbour record still belongs to Mr Pete Young our local Speed Sailor. Ant Baker won the Pro fleet in the BSA slalom event (K77) held at the end of speedweek in October. [...]

Well its that time of the year where the tiny wave boards and speed boards come out to play, shredding off dust as the first tail ends of Hurricane Katia hit the UK. Portland has higher wind stats than most other spots along the south coast of England, due to its geographical positon and its unquie setup. [...]
